Attention Dillon Square Deal B Press users: It was brought to my attention that HTC type Powder Funnels do not provide full length of expansion as designed due to the limit of adjustment available for Powder Measure Die. In order to address this issue, use of 0.200/0.250 spacers is suggested. Set of spacers is available as a separate part.
After introduction of 9mm – HTC Powder Funnel several reloaders contacted me with "what about one for 45 ACP and 40 S&W calibers" question. I'm not sure about one for 40 S&W even though I personally load a lot of coated bullets for my 10mm ammo. However, taking to account, that I load A LOT of ammo for my BullsEye "games" using coated bullets cast by a friend and as well from Brazos, designing and machining HTC Powder Funnel for 45 ACP was a natural progression.
This particular Powder Funnel is specially designed for loading for 45 ACP caliber using cast lead bullets, both naked lead or Hi-Tek Coated and sized to .451"-.452". Expander portion of this PTU is sized to provide enough case expansion to prevent shaving lead and/or polymer coating. Length of the expander portion provides for minimum swaging of the bullet's base, - it is almost three times longer than the standard .45ACP Powder Funnel
