The DAA Click-Adjustable Powder Knob consists of a large 30mm round, aluminium machined and laser engraved knob, which is knurled around the outer edge making it easy to rotate the bolt and adjust the charge.
The two piece system includes a spring and steel ball which clicks over serrations in the back of the knob, creating loud audible clicks which allow you accurately rotate the dial in steps of 20deg, 18 clicks per rotation. These adjustments are easily minute enough for any practical adjustment of the measured powder charge.
The numbers on the laser engraved dial indicate the direction for increasing or decreasing the charge, and allows you keep track of what the correct position should be for one load or another.
The system can be added to your Dillon press in a matter of minutes and is a "drop-in" component part for the small/standard powder bar.
For the larger Magnum Rifle Powder Bar, you will need to drill a 4.5-6mm hole for the spring and ball in the powder bar itself, using half the length of the spring provided (See product picture).

The adjustable knob is very good and quick to makeBy: KT on 8 February 2018The packet label lists assembly instructions at : www.doublealpha.biz I assembled mine on the Dillon RL550 press powder bar in minutes after I watched the DAA assembly presentation on YOU TUBE. The DAA rep gave a good description of the tools needed and how to insert the ball bearing easily. I recommend it as it is so quick to get into operation. The adjustable knob is very good and quick to make powder throw adjustments to 1 gr.
